During our reading session today, the students teamed up to complete an information scavenger hunt focused on The Treaty of Waitangi. Working in pairs, they searched for information around the classroom to learn more about the treaty. Click on the link to check out our Treaty of Waitangi learning on the class site.
Congratulations to Alex, Mila, Sylvie and Billie-Jean for completing over 30 nights of Summer Reading. Each of the students received a chocolate and book as a reward. Kia tonu pai to panui e ngā kōtiro.
Welcome back to Term 3!
The students have got a busy term ahead of them! We have started the term with the Commonwealth Games kicking off in Birmingham, England. The students have enjoyed learning about the games so far and we look forward to following our NZ team as we ‘GO for GOLD’.
We are really lucky to have two awesome teacher aides who help in our class; Whaea Kiran and Whaea Reyna. Today Whaea Kiran was teaching some of our students how to play Rhyming Bingo. Thank you Whaea Kiran!
